questions and answers

Are the horses solid or hollow?

Since this question is especially important for the Custers among you: We print all figures up to the Classic size of 1:12 solid. From Classic onwards, we print hollow, but with thicker walls. This makes it easy to hair your purchased resin horses. Likewise, the legs of most horses in 1:12 and 1:9 are solid, given the wall thickness we use.

Which size is right for me?

  • The size 1:64 corresponds to the horses that fall under the micros (about 2€ each).
  • 1:32 corresponds to the scale of the stablemates (approx. 4-5cm withers height. For ponies, of course, less).
  • 1:24 is the intermediate size between a Stablemate and a Schleich horse.
  • 1:20 Corresponds to the scale of Schleich horses
  • 1:16 is the intermediate size between a Schleich horse and a Classic size horse. The withers height corresponds to approximately 9-10 cm (less for a pony, of course).
  • 1:12 corresponds to the size of Classic horses and is the pre-size to the traditional scale.
  • 1:9 is the traditional size and comparable to the Breyer Tradis scale. For most horse models, this scale is the last we can print with the resin printer.
  • 1:6 corresponds to the size of Mr. Z horses. We print most of these models exclusively with the FDM printer. Please note that this will require more sanding, although we'll of course do a lot of preparatory work for you :)
